Connecticut Ballet Center students have the opportunity to perform in children's roles in Connecticut Ballet's productions, as well as our own year-end production, 'The Education of the Dancer." Performance is an important component of dance training, but is not the main focus.
ABOUT CONNECTICUT BALLET CENTER
Connecticut Ballet Center is for all dancers, both professional and recreational alike. All classes are taught by our fully-professional faculty. Currently, CBC is offering year-long introductory-level creative movement and pre-ballet for children ages 3-5 and formal ballet training for ages 5 and up including teens and adults. In addition, the school offers Character dance, Lyrical, and Modern dance technique. The annual Summer Intensive is open to children ages 8 thru 18 and provides an opportunity to take many other types of dance and related subjects (mime, dance history, choreography, jazz, Pilates, yoga) in addition to daily ballet, pointe, and repertory classes.
10-class cards for adults are reasonably priced at $170. Students may come to observe a class with a parent or take a trial class for $20.00. The annual registration fee is $20 per person. Individual open classes are $20. If you are in need of financial assistance, you may fill out a financial aid application, and we will make every effort to respond to your needs.
